    2. Same here. My friend from Celic recognized the street addresses from the news and called to inform me since I don't have TV. And as far as the notice at the end of each raod goes, I looked for it this morning... Found it. It was a small maybe 5.5" x 8" piece of paper stapled to a TREE on the PROPERTY LINE of the first house. Not by the mail boxes, or any other MAIN VIEW POINT for the residents of 312th. I am pretty sure ALMOST everyone checks their mail (eventually), I don't, however, know a whole lot of people that observe their neighbors trees just in case someone decides to post an URGENT message for them there.

  2. This is all you can say? You cannot tell me that you are unable to contact your customers!!!! If it were not for my neighbor, I would have NO IDEA!!!
And by the way...contact information for Mark Combs would be fantastic!!

  3. We posted notice at the end of each road, we notified the newspapers and News media. We also posted on the website. We have had over 49 hits so it really seems to be working. This was the fastest way to get things out. I have encouraged people to join this blog since 2009 for just such an occasion.

    1. Who is "We" may I ask? If you all were out in our neck of the woods anyway, why not take the time to post a notice on EACH fence/ door to MAKE SURE we knew about it. Inconvenient? Maybe, but so is slowly being poisoned....

  5. What are you doing about this? There is no notice on 316th. Why when the power went out Sat did the generator not provide water?

  6. any updates? has a possible source of the contamination been found?

  7. I'd really like to know where the contamination is coming from, or at least some guesses. If it's just "in the water", perhaps some septic tank inspections are overdue. If a rat pooped in an open bag of chlorine in the pump house, that's an easier problem to fix and much less to worry about. Whatcha know, Cristilina?

  8. I appreciate that we even have a generator for our water (I just moved in in January). If it works at least most of the time, that's awesome. After reading past posts though, it seems like it's down as much as its up. Maybe Cristilina should budget for a regular generator service plan, or at least an annual checkup before every winter. And maybe I'll start keeping a few extra gallons of drinking water in the garage :-).

    1. what you probably were unaware of just moving in is that Cristalina JUST completed system wide "upgrades" and repairs to provide better water quality and service. these "fixes" have skyrocketed the bills to over $100 per month.(It was only $35/month when we moved here in 2009) of that $100 per month only $17 is from the actual water usage. The rest is fees generated from the "upgrades" and "maintenance"...
